Finnish Education is really focused on the perspective of the student. So, the teacher, in an autonomous way, tries to use different methodologies and resources aiming the necessities of the students and working with their competences. Other important thing to point out is related with the collaborative learning, through group works, because it is an interesting classroom dynamic that promotes the interaction not only between the students, but also between students and teacher. On this perspective, the process of teaching and learning doesn’t depend , mainly and only, of the teacher’s role as the “owner” of the knowledge, here the teacher is, in fact, a facilitator and mediator for the learning. It is important to focus also on the fact that teacher work together with their colleagues in their plans and also in the effectiveness of their classes to make real a process that should be centered on the students and lined in learn by making and activeness. Finally, it is important to consider that in Finnish Education the teacher is truly recognized and valued as a professional and plays an important role in society.
